DTF Transfer Press Instructions

Thank you for your order from The Craft Cache Workshop!

For best results, use a heat press. Firm pressure is KEY! 

Before You Press

• Preheat your garment for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
• Position your transfer on the garment.
• Make sure the pressing surface is firm and even.

Pressing Instructions

• Temperature: 300°F
• Time: 10–15 seconds
• Pressure: Firm

Consider a lower temperature for different blends of clothing. For example, start at 280 degrees for a 100% polyester garment. 

Peel

Allow the transfer to cool until it is warm or completely cool to the touch, then peel the film back slowly and evenly.

Final Press

Cover the design with parchment paper, butcher paper, a Teflon sheet, or a blank t-shirt (my favorite option) and press again for 5–10 seconds. This improves durability and leaves a softer, matte finish.

Washing Instructions

• Wait 24 hours before washing.
• Turn the garment inside out before washing.
• Machine wash cold.
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not iron directly on the design.
• Do not dry clean.
